I honestly liked Tlk and Aoe better than Rotb. Aoe and Tlk had fun CGI stuff and was just 1 hour of fighting and robots mucking around, it may not have been interesting story-wise, but I laughed, and liked the action. When I watched Rotb, I just, it felt like too much, whilst also being absolutely nothing at the same time. I didn't even feel interested seeing the trailer. I feel really bad for it, from what I knew about it's original plan, it was gonna be really good. I think one of the reasons I liked Tlk and Aoe so much was because I knew it was bad going into it, so everything that would usually disappoint you, I was expecting. Can't wait to see Transformer One though

I did watch another video giving the same argument, I think the point you were trying to make is that while the rest of the movie is amazing the opening feels out of place considering the tone and scale of the film.

In my opinion the best case of a connected universe besides the MCU is the DC Animated Universe. It started out with Batman TAS and branched out into one of the best superhero franchises with stuff like Justice League and Unlimited.

What changed between this re-upload and the previous video?

It felt like 3 movies at once: the Autobots meet the humans, Unicron is coming to destroy Earth and meet the Maximals! The movie was shorter than usual; 2 hours. People need to allow movies to be dark (don't delete scenes for being "too dark"). I thought Elena was less well-written than Noah. She had no trouble solving problems by being convenient. She's supposed to be very smart. Also, she for some reason, kept running CLOSER to the fight between Primal and Airazor! There were low stakes. The parade had "tight security" but the humans made it through easily. There could've been a narrow, claustrophobic tunnel with Noah (a soldier), teaching Elena how to crawl as fast as possible. As for the control panel, you'd think the Transformers would teach her how to use Cybertronian technology which may be touch-based (which we didn't have in 1994!). Stratosphere conveniently exists for the Peru trip. Bringing in GI Joe is ridiculous considering that most of the Autobots (including the 3 that magically didn't exist) didn't get their fair share of screen time. In fact, people were wondering where was the military when Unicron appeared in front of the Earth? Did they discover the Autobots and the others after they returned to NYC? At least provide an explanation. And why was there a big, dark cloud in the sky covering Unicron? That makes no sense. Let him be seen for the public to panic. Why did Optimus say "an ally", only referring to Noah? Is Elena an ally, too? An important lesson to learn about restraint is: kill your babies (look it up).

Don't forget there were 3 more Autobots from the last movie (or 4 because I think we're supposed to believe Stratosphere used an escape pod, too). There should be a total of 9 Autobots. Where were they when they were needed the most? And I agree that the BB movie being left for any story routes however they want. Anyone can just soft reboot it and create the right "beginning" movie than this. "We've been guilty of that." You JUST did that! With ROTB! There are too many (CGI) characters for the audience to meet for the first time (let alone, the Autobots)!

Bayformers is genuinely one of the most entertaining franchises I've seen. Not good, or well-written, or even decent. But God damn is it fun to watch giant robots tear each other limb from limb while everything around them explodes as if there's TNT built into the streets. The utterly impeccable CGI helps with that.

It’s such a shame that we could have had so much more from the show, especially a FOURTH SEASON. As someone who grew up on TFP, it’s really sad to think about what could have been and that the reason it didn’t happen was because of internal issues happening throughout the entirety of the show.
